No matter the industry, it’s the people that make any business. And here at Boyd, we’re proud to say that we have high-caliber people on our team who have made us one of the best companies in our industry—people like one of our production managers, Jeff Bollig.
Jeff has considered himself an artist for much of his life. And after a season of working for a steel company, he felt that itch to get back to his love of art and passion for creativity.
So, for the last 25 years, Jeff has flexed his creative muscles as one of our hardworking production managers. Using great attention to detail, Jeff guides each project from start to finish—which is one of his favorite aspects of his job.
“The ability to create something, to see it go from something raw to a work of art, that is the beauty of it all—the end result.” Jeff especially loves the more artistic signs that we have finished all across the Las Vegas strip, seeing sand-blasted stone, and creating faux finishes “It’s what gets me up every morning and [makes me] excited to be here.”
He loves getting to see Boyd’s work out “in the wild.” When he drives through his neighborhood and sees a sign at the entrance. Or when he’s on vacation at Sturgis and is greeted by the beautifully crafted sign outside of The Knuckle Brewing Company.
Jeff is also passionate about sharing his craft with younger generations and passing down all of the knowledge he’s gained throughout his career: “[I love] teaching young kids what I do. We all started somewhere, and it’s been a wonderful journey so far for me.”
